I began to examine my life & career...

After 20 years as a solopreneur in advertising and marketing, I was struggling with where I wanted to take my business and my career.

A lifelong learner and lover of education, I was confused as to which training would give me the best return on my investment or how I was going to find the time to get it all done while taking care of my clients, my family, and myself.

I already have my MBA from a top program – so what more could there be???
So, I dabbled with some techie stuff in digital & social marketing. I learned a ton about how Artificial Intelligence was going to impact marketing. And I even tried working with other marketing agencies to help broaden my service offerings.

Ultimately, I didn’t like it, I didn’t make much money, and I wasn’t happy.

Then this happened....

In December of 2018 while on a family vacation, in one afternoon, I read the transformational book (as a marketer & entrepreneur) Building a StoryBrand by Donald Miller.

That next week I applied to be a StoryBrand Guide (someone certified by Don and his team to expertly execute the StoryBrand messaging framework) and headed off to Nashville.

What I came to find out was that my StoryBrand work would become some of the most personally gratifying work I had done in a very long time.

And then it hit me – like a bolt of lightning in the middle of the night!

It was the framework of StoryBrand that gave me the confidence to execute flawlessly for any business – it was like my new superpower.

And another door opened…

As a StoryBrand Guide (and fangirl of anything that Don and his team produce), I was offered a spot in the inaugural class of the Business Made Simple Coaching program.

Even though I am totally #TeamStoryBrand, this was not an easy decision for me.The cost to go through the certification program was significant. And it would take some of my attention away from my current clients that I so love working with.

But knowing that the frameworks and curricula that lies within the Business Made Simple program would be thoughtful, useful, and pack a lot of value, I decided to go all in and become a Certified Business Made Simple Coach as well.

The best part is that not only am I a Coach, but I’m also a user of the frameworks and curricula, too. I have personally experienced the great value, profound clarity, and focused productivity that is contained in every lesson.
